I ordered it because I am planning a trip to Boston next week; and the Apple iPad case is back ordered until the end of April. I needed something right away; and this will definitely fill the need. It appears to be of good quality. I’ve only had it one day, so time will tell. The velcro straps do work to allow the iPad to sit up at about a 45 degree angle for viewing, reading, etc. There’s another little support thingie which can be configured within the case to allow the iPad to sit up at about a 15 degree angle for typing. The iPad appears to be sturdy in either position. When it is laid flat, there are straps to keep it snug in the case; and the entire case fits it so perfectly that I’m not even sure the straps are needed.

I am sure the seller who I bought mine from will not appreciate me saying this. They did provide good service, etc. However, either I failed to notice or it has only happened in the days since I ordered this case that Amazon actually sells it directly for about 60% of what they are asking for it. With my Amazon Prime membership, that means I can get two spares, no tax & free 2-day shipping for not much more than I paid for the one I have. Once I get the Apple case and compare the two, I just may do that. Amazon sells it in blue and a forthcoming red one. Look under “Kroo Apple iPad Blue EVA Case”.

The only one thing I don’t like about it is that you do have to attach the two velcro straps together on each side. They attach well and strongly. However, the case does not then stay up by itself. You have to maneuver the iPad into the case while keeping it open for it to stand up properly. It’s not that difficult; but like the other reviewer, I am always worried about dropping the iPad during this exercise. :-) I guess I’ll just be careful; and like most other things, time will surely make the process easier.
